Ingredients
Pastry
1) 1.5 cup finely crushed vanilla wafers
2) 2/3 cup almonds, finely ground
3)3/4 cup butter, melted
Filling:
1) 1 cup chocolate cream
2)1.5 cup mixed berries
3)1/2 cup apricot preservers(jam), melted
Serving: 6-8
Prep. timing 30 minutes plus 4 hours to chill
lets start
Mix the wafers, almonds, and butter in a large bowl. Press into the bottom and partway up the sides of a 9 inch pie plate. refrigerate for 2 hours, or until set, spoon the chocolate cream into the pastry and refrigerate for 2 hours. Decorate with berries and brush with preserves.
Recipe Chocolate Hazelnuts Sweets
Ingredients:
1) 400 gram hazel nuts
2) 200 gram sugar
3) 3 tablespoon apple juice
4) 3 tablespoon apple liqueur
5) 75 gram unsweetened cocoa powder
6) 75 gram sugar strands/ sprinkles
Make about 35 cookies
Prep. timings 20 minutes plus 4 hours to chill
lets start
1) Process the hazelnuts with the sugar in a food processor until very finely chopped.
2) Mix in the apple juice, liqueur and cocoa
3) Form the mixture into small balls about 2/3 inch
4) Roll in the sugar sprinkles until well coated
5) Arrange on a serving dish and refrigerate for 4 hours
6) Serve with coffee
Ingredients:
1) 150 gram butter
2) 180 ml water
3) 150 gram bittersweet chocolate, coarsely chopped
4) 250 gram sugar
5) 4 tablespoon corn (golden) syrup
6)75 gram salt
7) 2 table spoon vanilla extract
Making: about 2 cups(500 ml)
Prep. timing: 15 minutes
Cooking timing: 5minutes
lets start:
Melt the butter with water in a sauce pan over medium heat. bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Stir in the chocolate until melted. Add the sugar, corn syrup and salt. Bring to a boil and simmer for 5 minutes. Remove from the heat and add the vanilla . Serve hot or warm.
